Pulp Fiction’s original theme song!

You all know the theme song from Tarantino’s hit movie. Even the Black Eyed Peas made a remake of this theme song. Well, I’m sure you’ve never heard the original song. It’s Greek from a guy called Tassos Mavris and the track is titled ‘Misirlou’. So here’s a sample from that song. Enjoy!

I thought everyone knew the original song “Misirlou”! At least everyone from Greece… And even if you did not happen to hear it before, i can not imagine that you missed the ending ceremony of the Olympic Games in Athens 2004. Sakis Rouvas performed “Misirlou” that night. He almost fell down of the stage while dancing that song! :P
Anyway, i think it is a big honour for Greece the fact that the original song was adapted by several people. In my opinion the version from the Black Eyed Peas is the best by far!!!

    Hi Mario,

    Great website :)

I just wanted to clarify something. It was Anna Vissi who sang “Misirlou” perfectly at the Olympic Games in Athens 2004 NOT Sakis Rouvas!
